Update: The "Did You Know" power point by Karl Fisch (and remixed by Scott McLeod) was first presented in the fall of 2006. In late February 2007 it went "viral" as they say--which in and of itself sort of proves Karl's premise. "Going viral" doesn't mean it has a computer virus. It's more like "going platinum" in the record business. It means that it was sent to so many people (thousands? millions?) that it became something worthy of parody. Sort of the way "Wierd Al" Yankovic used to parody Michael Jackson videos. As much as I hate to do this... I will link to a spoof of the original presentation.
